Damn, what happened to the days of the scammer wanting to send you a cashiers check?
Every other message I get lately is someone trying to get me to sign up for something, or click this link and get rich.

Recieved this one today:

I also happen to live in gainesville and I just took a gander at your sales ad for Vintage Saddle Refurbished - $125 (Ft white)
A few months back I was selling my things on CL too so I could get some extra cash.
But after seeing what my brother in-law does (who also lives in gainesville) I'll never need to do that again.
He got laid off a while back due to the terrible economy, since then he's been working online posting ad's for google.
He made a online journal about his entire journey so he could help others and I think if you had 30 seconds of your day to spare you'd really find it interesting to go over. who wouldn't want some extra cash by just using basic computer skills?? I'll help you out, all it'll take is 2 simple steps.
First, click this link to his blog http://pie.im/fe05
2nd, go to the site and just sit down for 5 minutes and read it.
youve got nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

Ive never listed any saddle, quit spamming Me!

heres mine

topic said xbox 360 etc, nothing to do with what I was selling, deff high volume spamming..

I just wanted to tell you that you just don't have to get rid of your items to be able to put food on the table. I know it really hurts you to have to get rid off your posessions and I get what it is like to make hard decisions in this economic situation. Recently I unfortunately had to get rid of my daughter's computer just to make the mortgage. Those were undoubtably the saddest times for the family.

I live in phoenix too and my uncle was recently laid off due to the downturn in the economy. However, he has found out an easy way to make honest money on-line and it totally helped me to take care of this. I really wanted to come back and inform everyone who may be dealing with these tough times. I promise you that it's deserving of 30 seconds of your day.

Lots of people he has given this information have been very successful and if those folks can do it then so can you.

Oh, here is the link http://jar......(i broke the link) ...crative as well. It’s OK to tell your family!

yeah over half of my craigslist ad replies here in rockford il are from spammers.. gets effing annoying thats for sure...

Here's one I got once:

Hey,

I remarked your ad, I too play games (quite a lot), hope you dont mind
the email, I just like to help a fellow gamer.

This is how I can purchase pretty much any game that comes out :
funwaytobigbucks.com
.

I've been using it for a week now, and have already produced about $950.

Best of luck!

And another:

Do you want to win all games?

Here is the solution: http://linko.es/wld_

its all the time with my stuff. So annoying. There is only one way to avoid it. Choose to not show your CL link address on the ad, also make sure to leave a phone number in the ad and not a email address. It just sucks that the only way to be free of the BS is to give out your phone number for everyone to see.
