Looking to grab a flashing display PCB for a Taito Chase HQ cab. My lights do not work correctly and I am hoping simply replacing this board will do the trick.

If you have one or are parting out a chase HQ cab, preferably tested as working then I'd be interested.

Thanks.

Show me a pic of what the board looks like. I might have one from a cab I had to gut out a few years ago.

Thanks for that.

Here is the board in my cab.

What is yours doing wrong? A guy in Canada told me he had some extra parts too when I was getting mine back up and running. Let me see if I can remember who it was.

When switched on the lights flash constantly but not correctly. The Blue one flashes on and off ok, the red one stays on, but you can also see it flashing slightly.

During the game when they should be off until you catch up to the bandits, they remain on in the same pattern as above.

I know a guy on here got his working by pulling the signal from an IC and running that through solid state relays, but I was hoping to get mine working with original components.

The issue will either be the game board is not feeding the right signal to the light board, or something on the light board is stuffed.

Easiest thing to check is the light board first up if I can get one that was known to be working.

That would be me lol.

Let me know if you still need it. I'll try to hunt it down in the parts bin somewhere in the garage.

Just to let you know. I had the same problem with mine at first. Replaced the flasher board but still did the same. Ended up replacing the main pcb and it fixed the problem.
