I know this is a long shot but I have a majority of the SNES library but I am looking for Wild Guns and don't want to buy it off ebay. I have tons of games spanning every console so if you have one for trade hit me up or a price if you want to sell.

Yeah I know... And its really the only game I need for my snes collection. Everything is really inflated right now.

Holy crap this game is super high priced on Ebay.

I had to double check the condition of mine which is probably the best you'll ever find for a used copy of the game. My brother and I were super huge fans of Cabal and Blood Bros so when we heard of Wild Guns, we had to go out and get a copy of it. Needless to say I've kept it in in perfect collectors condition even though it was well played in our house.

It's been a huge favorite of mine but I'm willing to let it go for top dollar. I have a nice Everdrive SNES anyways.

You going to split the dough with your brother?

NO WAY - he helped pay for me to go to school but then when I started working I chipped in BITD so that he'd have enough down payment when he bought a house. This was 8 years before i bought a house.

I had no idea that it shot up so high recently. I got a good condition loose copy, but plan on keeping it. Trying for the complete US collection....eventually, lol :)

not even 48 hours and it's just under $400 already...

I expect it will follow the typical model: shoot up high within the first few days, stay steady for a few (maybe a slight climb), and then spike at the end.

I'm thinking my estimate may be a little on the conservative side now, though... with the speed this thing has shot up at, it shows someone out there is looking for a quality copy of the game.

Will it hit $600?

I'm a bit torn. I would love to see it go super high, but at the same time, since it's one I don't have yet, I hate seeing it go beyond my reach.

Good luck with your auction (not that you need it at this point).

I'm just glad I got EVO when I did. I picked it up for what equated to around $50-60 (traded some stuff that I had gotten cheap) just this last year (December, even) and now it's spiked to over $150 pretty regularly. I've seen a few hit $200 even. That's over double what the going rate was when I actually got mine.

just to test yes...

I have an Everydrive SNES and I loaded in the ROM in case I have the itch in the future to play.

That game was sitting in a storage box for since 1992 however.

Yeah I suspect that this auction won't move anymore till next monday.

Honey... we are eating out this week!

So I'll be honest. I started to pull off the tape I used to keep the shrink in place and I freaked out cause it started to pull small chips of the black paper coating off of the box... I COMPLETELY FREAKED OUT. I then decided to take a chance. I cleaned it up with goo gone (adhesive residue) and sharpied it.

It looks perfect still and none the wiser.

No celebrating yet cause I haven't been paid and you know how that ebay buyers remorse makes people flake out.

Now what is really funny is that the same auction winner was the very first bidder at $150 and midway he sent me this message through ebay to try to get me to end the auction early with him and a set price. I told him I wanted to let the market dictate the value and final price.

"Ok then I will up my offer to 475$, and you can bill my PayPal address and save on eBay fees. Another 15% . I can pay right away. This is my favorite game so I'd really appreciate it, thanks"

I love the "end it early" requests.

I always respond the same as you. I just say "let your offer be your high bid." and tell them that they may get lucky and get a deal.

He paid, all is good in the world, other than paypal fees. After paypal and ebay fees I net about $650 which is totally worth it.

I have a Mario RPG in similar condition. I'm not sure if I'm willing to part with my Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger either... I really like my Everydrive SNES and probably will do the Mode 7 chip mods today.

Mario RPG is cool, and I would expect it to hit $150 in that shape. It's usually a Sub $100 game.

Secret of Mana probably around the same, although it's usually a few dollars more than Mario RPG.

Chrono Trigger, on the other hand, hits $150 (Seems to be more now. $175-200) in fair condition as long as it has both posters and the manual. Registration card is a bonus.

I could see it hitting $200-250 (adjust to $300).

Fortunately, for me, I already have Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG CIB. Not mint, by any means, but I don't like mint prices (when buying...). Secret of Mana, on the other hand, I still need.

I just double checked my prices before posting this, as I was going off the top of my head. I got my Chrono Trigger a few months back in a lot for $150, and I think it was around that by itself (on a good day) so prices have increased substantially since I picked mine up. I knew they were going up, but that's an insane boost.
