anybody want to trade? i need a early harness that doesn't use the filter board. i can purchase or trade for my qbert harness that uses the filter board.

Here's a picture is of both harnesses I had. The one in the top half is the 'older' style (without filter PCB)... the one in the lower half is the one with the connections for the filter PCB...

Here's a closer shot of the non-filter PCB version...

Let's talk...

You could just rewire the harness to not use the filter boards. I have done a dozen of them. You just cut of the filter board connectors and solder the wires together. The FB is pinned straight through so its simple to figure out which wires to connect, you dont even need to look at a wiring diagram.

Good point.

rip, takeman was telling me this "Reactor did not have a filterboard and the layout of the boards is different, so that board harness will be short....." he was saying a early run qbert harness without the filter board would be ideal. whats your take? i think troy used a early qbert harness for his.

I dont think the harness will be short. You might have to reconfigure where the boards are mounted on the backdoor(this is what they did on qbert when the FB was added).

to mount the boards correctly if you cut out the filter board it will be short
you do need the older harness..

i know as i swapped takeman my old harness for his reactor so he could make it

alejandromad and i are going to swap harness'. thanks everyone. still hoping to get this reactor together by the end of summer.

To lay the boards out in a Reactor the "factory way" you need the earlier harness or alot of time to extend the one with the filter board. The older harness is Much, much easier to convert. Only about 10-12 wires added & subtracted to convert to Reactor...
