WTB: Working Toei Chassis...

Good luck on that. I have had a Mr. Do non working in the shop for 3 years, looking for the same thing. We have decided to just put a Nintendo monitor in it some day.

I will take any old dead Toei chassis ppl want to get rid of.

I agree they are a pita to fix and keep going. Mostly because that resistor burns a giant hole in the middle of the chassis pcb in about 80% of them. Might be tough to find one working and even tougher to get whoever has it to let it go.

I might have a working Toei Chassis. I will check tonight and report back.

Tempted...

Flyback's aren't available for the Toei chassis, and it's going to fail sooner rather than later even if you find a chassis. Unless you're dealing with vector monitors, keeping original is really not worth the trouble, especially in the case of Toei's. Personally, I would probably pay less for a game with a Toei.

Just wanted to "see" about keeping the Toei up and running. However, I do have info from 8-Liners from a few months ago. This Mint Mr. do is calling my name to get into the basement!
