WTB: working Atari ARII-03 power supply (Missile Command)

There are some differences on the AR boards. I believe the resistors are different between the 2 and 3. I tried a 2 on my Missile command only to find it did not work. YMMV. Check the edge connectors on your Missile Command harness as well. Every single harness I have owned had crappy edge connectors.

There is a slight difference, but I've sold almost a dozen ARII-Rev2s to MC owners over the last couple years.. Without one issue.. So I guess it's kinda a gamble if it will work, but I'd try.. As 12 positives over one negative is pretty good odds :)

If ARII-rev3s weren't so hard to find, we wouldn't be having this conversation. If you do still have your original AR, rebuild it. Or I can.

You can make a rev 2 a rev 3 but swapping 2 resistors one for a lesser value and the other for a straight wire. The boards are all identical just the amounts and what parts are installed.

I believe someone stated you may really only ever need a rev 3 if you have a MC board with 12 ROMS, most have 4 or 5

Yep, if your Missile Command is stuffed with 2708 EPROMs....you should probably use a -03. If you have the more common 2716s....you should be good with a -02.

Maybe helpful...
