Anyone have one that is in perfect working order they'd sell me?

Send me a PM with cost to ship to 40383.

Thanks

What's yours doing? Have to tried to fix it?

I installed a capkit and that fixed the main problem (poor/dim picture fading in and out).

Then it had a h-hold issue. I started a thread and it was suggested the h-hold POT was dirty/failing/bad. In the meantime a complete chassis was on ebay and while not guaranteed it was implied that it was working. So I waited for that to finish and then be shipped.

That arrived and it didn't work at all. I started to install my original chassis and it appears that the anode wire (the one with the suction cup) is broke where it is connected to the flyback transformer? There is a what appears to be a small spring in there its broke right there.

So I posted thinking there were 10s of thousands of SI out there and thought it might be plentiful enough to pick up a decent chassis.

I offered the NOS chassis for $150 shipped. It is NOS, but still 35 years old and probably would still need a cap kit. I don't know what it's really worth...just pulled that number out of the sky.

Just thought I'd check and see if you knew the wire does come apart there on the WG. The springs just touch the legs on both sides of the diode there.

No, I did not. Thanks for the info. That seems like a strange design to me, I wonder what drove that decision.

So I have my original chassis which I can't get to sync, but after a capkit has a strong/bright picture (fixing the original problem). I'm going to re-install it after tracking down a POT for the h-sync and see if that fixes it.

The other chassis I bought off ebay was DOA :-(

I guess it makes it easy to change that diode out if you need to. It just slips out of the holders. The first time it happened to me I thought I busted it also.
