WTB: Warlords Cocktail for child therapist's office

I've reached out to a few people on KLOV and figured I would just post something here. I'm a child and adolescent therapist and looking for a game for my office to play with the kids and teens I see. Warlords would be pretty awesome for that, especially since the kids could try to destroy me and parents wouldn't really mind since it's not a fighting game. I'm also a collector, and knowing that I could have a great game like a Warlords, make use of it in my office, and introduce a new generation of kids to these great games would be awesome.

I definitely don't expect anything cheap but can't afford what the recent one on eBay went for. Still, I wanted to check to see if anyone has one they might consider selling. If so, please PM me with your asking price and condition.

Thanks so much.

There's at least 1 other buyer on klov offering similar money to the ebay sale, so you might be better off putting a game together for yourself. Perhaps in the "wrong" cabinet.

Here are the pots and knobs.

Takeman did metal kits and power supply kits

Phoenixarcade made art kits, and then all you need is boards and a monitor. It'll be some work, but should be cheaper than finding a complete game.

The issue with this game is its popularity and demand for it. You won't be finding one
of these cocktails being sold for under $1,500 anywhere. Maybe a $1,000 broken ugly
project if you're lucky and willing to deal with rust, missing monitor, and non-working pcb.

the one sold recently on ebay ($3,500 i believe) is quite high. i'd say the average most
people sell and buy these for are in the $2,000+ range.

this is a really good idea for helping kids. I enjoy playing it on the Atari plug and play paddles they made awhile back you can find them on ebay this might be the way to go as the real arcade machine is probably hard to find. btw the paddles play the arcade version of warlords

Thanks for the support and encouragement. I'm chasing down a few leads, but if anyone else might consider parting with a Warlords please do let me know. Thanks again.

A four-player pong cocktail like QuadraPong, Elimination, Tournament Table, or clone would get you most of the way there (gameplay-wise) for a fraction of the cost. Just a thought.

Check out these four folks having some ball and paddle fun...
