WTB: U2000 27" Neck Board (mine vanished into thin air!)

I am in the need for a U2000 neck board. I purchased a game at the last arcade auction in Winston-Salem because I saw that it working great. But I guess from the time I won it and the time a couple hours that I loaded it up, the neck board disappeared. I didn't find out until I got it home and turned it on only to find there was no video. At that point, I opened the back (screwed in, no lock) only to find the neck board gone. Hopefully someone here can help.

I am having difficulty comprehending how this game "worked" at auction and the neckboard just vanished in transit.

Explain.

If I recall correctly, there is an different/extra part on the 27" neckboard that isn't on the 25" neckboard, like a resistor or something. But you can change/add it to a 25" neckboard to make it work...

That one that connects to one of the neck pins? I've seen that on a lot of the 25s too, if I recall it can make the picture a little darker. Call me crazy but I just take them off.

vanishing neckboard

After this item was auctioned, like all other items, it was turned off and the auction continued for a couple more hours, moving down the rows of arcade machines. I assume that the board was taken out in those couple hours as there is so much other activity going on, nobody would notice someone taking the board out. It is not the first time something like this has happened at the auctions, (first time for me tho) and probably won't be the last time. The back of the machine only had one screw holding it on so it wouldnt take more than maybe 2 minuted to take it out. The machines at the auction are there basically on the 'honor system' until you can move them and some people just don't have any honor. It didn't vanish in transit, we loaded them ourselves.

Thats bogus as shit dude.

Well, they arent particularly impossible to find, but I havent seen any turn up lately.

Im not sure if theres any differences as mod mentioned cause I havent seen a 27" chassis in awhile, but if it helps any the U2000, U5000, K7400 and K7500 all used the same neckboard.

If I get a chance later tomorrow Ill go through my stash, and I have a 27" U5000 in one of the games I can use as a guide too to verify differences.

Same neckboard, yes. But not always the same parts. Some models have parts that others don't have, and you'll not get a good picture if you swap between models without changing them first...

Correct. They all use a "P719" neckboard, but there will be designation differences such as a U5000 uses a P719-I, a K7400 uses a P719-J, etc. etc. I forget the others off the top of my head.

Still needing a neck board for Wells Gardner U2000

Figured I would give it a shot again.... anyone?
