WTB: Tournament Cyberball 2072 (dual) PCB or kit, poss. Marquee & sticks

Hi all--

long time listener, first time caller. I have a dual-screen Cyberball that I swapped boards for a 2072. Now I want to blow the dust off it and give it some more love with a Tournament 2072 (A047147-01) and sound board if necessary (SAC PCB, A044963-22).

The sound is good as far as I can tell, but there was a post over here (by Driph, maybe?) that said that there are sounds added from regular Cyberball. I never changed that PCB, but have only noticed a few minor audio glitches...

I'd be willing to consider a kit if it would replace the current vanilla 2072 add-on board. Also willing to talk trade-in for a plain Cyberball dual board with a possible RAM chip problem, or my current 2072 board set.

***OTOH, if Tournament vs regular 2072 is just a matter of swapping ROM chips, that might be a far easier option. Maybe someone with a reader / burner would also be willing to help me back up my ROMs on the main and audio PCBs? Or would be willing to swap the chips that are different between 2072 and Tournament 2072--and in the case of the audio, Cyberball and Tournament.

And if there are any extra marquees or sticks for not a boatload of cash, it might be nice to update the top and swap out one of the sticks that has diagonal issues.

And my left monitor doesn't won't display and the right is fuzzy and overscanned, but I guess that's for another thread...

Thanks much. I'm in Louisiana, btw.

Check with exidy here. I recently sold him a near complete NOS upgrade kit. Only thing it was missing was the side art circles. Only thing he needed out of it was the cpo's (IIRC). So he might have all the other stuff available, including the upgrade electronics and the marquee

you probably have wells k7000 monitors in there(If not, they are 2 sanyo monitors). they need to be rebuilt. If you can't do it, send them off to someone who can. There is a chance recapping the DOA one will bring it back to life.

The 2nd monitor could be as simple as someone turned the screen volatge too high and the focus pot.
