I need to redo the mirrors for the inside of my EDOT
Does anyone have some of this material laying around?

I have enough for one side. I've made a few sets in the past, man they looked Awesome. Acrylic Mirror is what you want, preferable 1/8" or less. I saw Menards was carrying this a few months ago, I was kind of surprised by that.

I do.. i have a nice peel and stick chrome plastic, 1/32nd thick. The part I don't have is dimensions or a vector outline.

I've got some used original sides I could send you for measurements, I don't need them anymore! Heck, I'll be in Orlando Aug. 14-24 if you're still in that area.

Sure.. bring em with you. Do you have approximate dimensions (w & h)?

If you are down in my neck of the woods I have a half sheet of 1/8" mirrored plexi left over from a previous repair job, still has the protective paper on it.

I got it at Menards. Needed 2 sheets, cracked the corner off the 1st one, had to buy a 3rd ($38 a sheet, I wasn't a happy camper at the time :))

Is it 1/8"?
There is still the stuff I got at Menards, just use a pattern bit and route from the originals.

If you don't have a router you are welcome to come on down and we'll make a giant acrylic shaving mess in my shop :)

no its not 1/8 inch thick... it is thinner than that - and therefor wont work because the control panel would not fit inside the cabinet if those came out that far on each side.

Thanks though - hopefully someone will have this thin stuff...

After much trial and error, I finally used 1/8" plexi and Gila mirror tint from Lowe's. It was inexpensive and looks even better than the original. Total cost was around $50 to do both panels. My trial and error research was slightly more expensive. :(

I disagree, I've used 1/8" material on more than one EDOT and it works fine, and looks great. The control panel does fit in between (even if it looks like it won't). What you have to do, is be careful when you take the control panel on and off, or you WILL scratch the mirrors.

That being said, I'm pretty sure the stuff at Menards was .105", which by my math is thinner than 1/8" anyway.

looks like I am going to have to go down the 1/8 Inch road... still have not found any of this stuff at all... PROK said he had some stuff and to get him the exact size needed - which I did (several times) but still have not heard back. That was 2 months ago... so I dont know exactly what to do except go with the thicker stuff. Anyone else have any suggestions on the thinner stuff?
