Mine's Borked.

Anyone got a spare Tempest Opto PCB that works?

Thank you!

Some drilling may be required.

I'm sure the quasi-repro opto boards are using two of these ->

No drilling is required. Read the whole thread.
I'm a little confused, I read the thread, and it says the version pictured on Mike's page does NOT work with tempest. (Without drilling holes), though that there was surprise that it could work with pole position.

And that there is a newer version (with more holes) that is not pictured. And as VC pointed out, the arcadeshop listing does specifically say "Does not work with Tempest."

64bit, why not just follow the instructions on mike's page?
I don't really want to buy a new product that I may have to immediately drill holes in to make functional.

I did message them to inquire further, but digging around on the site, it very, very much seems like most items which would be out of stock are marked "contact customer service"

Did you test the opto/PCB? (with a scope to see pulses etc)
Sometimes it's just cold/cracked solder on these causing an issue. YMMV

Yes, it definitely isn't working. Checked it with a logic probe. Replaced the header and solder to make sure it wasn't that either.

Okay I bought an Arcade Jason repro opto and I can say without a doubt that it won't fit without new holes being drilled.

Unless the holes overlap it sounds like with minimal effort that it'll work. Is that true?
