wtb: taito superman dedicated

there was one on SFBA craigslsit like 2 months ago. Pretty sure I delivered a game to the guys basement and it was in nice shape. It was not working, so it might not have sold.

I have talked with her and I beleive she wanted around $450-$500

shes a tough one to deal with too...

anyways If needed I could help with pickup if you work out a deal. Alsways great to help a klover

...

Both of the games posted are conversions! One is a Joust conversion and the other is a Double Dragon. But honestly im unsure if the game was dedicated. I was always under the impression that its a conversion game.

the one in SJ was dedicated. Its in a taito cab like double dragon with full superman side art. If the one SJ ever pops up again, I will let you know.

Wait a minute...you just got that and I was second in line. You should have honorable plans for that, because I was going to put it to use in my 6:1 switcher.

Yeah, I originally wanted to do the same in my Robocop cab. But for some reason, the way that cab is wired (I assume) when I plug in Superman it says "coin error" and won't play.
But, when I put Superman in my other horizontal jamma cab (that I'm selling) it works perfectly.
So, I am kind of stuck with it now... Hence the post in this thread.

Derek, if you're still interested in it shoot me a PM.

Did you check the connections on your coin actuators? I bet they are connected as "ground" and "always on" as opposed to "ground" and "always off". Some boards don't care, and work fine through it (maybe the case with your Robocop) while others like the Superman can be senditive to it. I bet you swap them and the error goes away and your Superman board will work fine in there.
