Looking for a Taito Cab in Northern, CA. I am in the SF Bay Area.

Looking for one with the 'generic' Taito side art. Any of the colors will do. Though would love to get one in blue.

Thanks!

Let me guess...Bubble Bobble? :)

I had the same idea earlier this year. I even found a Taito cab, but sold it back to the seller's friend. Just wasn't practical for me. I have Bubble Bobble running in my Double Dragon Multi Taito now.

Good luck in your search!

EDIT: Here's a Taito cab that's been converted. You'd need to repaint the whole thing but it's a classic Taito cab.

Yes, for Bubble Bobble. It is the number one game from my childhood, so have to have a cab just for it. Got a board, marque and harness from a fellow KLOV member. Now just need the cab to put it in.

Thanks for pointing out the converted cab. If I can talk him down in price it may be just what I need.

Definitely still looking though if some else has a lead or something they are looking/willing to part with.

There is a dumbass in Temecula CA you can get one from for cheap. Some people have been lucky with him some not so much. He has 2 Cabs right now, they will need to be restored but that sounds like what you want I think he wants 75 each or so. It would mean a road trip for you. LOL.

The converted cab aint happening.

Thanks for the lead but ya, Temecula is too far for just a cab. Would be close to $200 just in gas for the round-trip. You are right though, I am perfectly fine with a restoration project.

So.....still looking.

cab

check out member 8bitnintendo I know for sure he has a nice taito. he is my buddy so check out my friends list we are both out of napa.

Yeah, I have bought from him before and have already talked to him about it. He has an elevator action in the brown version of the cab. However, he isn't looking to part with it right now.

No longer looking. Went a slightly different route.

Found a Romstar cab that should work wonderfully and is technically more original, since Bubble Bobble was distributed by Romstar in the US.
