WTB: Supercard Mini SD

I've always wanted to play Mother 3, but I can't read Japanese. Not sure if a translated version was ever released.

Maybe someone could do custom decals that could go over the ugly original face plates. But that would be a lot of effort most likely. Meh. I'm happy with my Famicom one. :)

Not officially. But...

Yeah, you can buy a custom Earthbound 0 cart at gamereproductions.com along with Star Fox 2 and some other unreleased titles. It's where I got my custom Goonies 1 cart. Great customer service and quality. They re-purpose actual Nintendo cartridges and create actual labels, not inkjet.

Their prices are better than I remember.

I always love how people try to resell them for a profit.

for example... $45 on the repro site.

And Earthbound is no exception. I saw a guy trying to sell the same style copy from http://www.nesreproductions.com/ for $100 on eBay not long ago.

Found a couple of links:

Amazon third-party seller. Cheap product, but for $5, may not be a bad option. http://www.amazon.com/Design-GameBoy-Decorative-Protector-Sticker/dp/B001G4Z0YU

Some dude who made his own custom ones using laminate paper.

Ah...now that has me thinking......:)

I picked up a micro for $20 a while back but it came with that pink flower ladybug faceplate...uhgg...
I am going to try and get creative with it....:D

No way, that ladybug faceplate totally shows how manly you are.

Hey, at least it's factory... it came in the box, so it's all original :D

Yeah man, be secure with who you are. It's okay. :)

For some. strange reason none of these comments make me feel any better about carrying it on me....:D

I certainly would love just 1 ordinary looking faceplate.....

Maybe I'll rock it without a faceplate?

I got a PSP Go again (for a great deal on CL) and I'm loving it. They have a loader called HBL (Ver 115) that allows you to load homebrew programs on Sony OFW 6.37. So no need to do any flashing or hacking of any sort. Just drop files to the root of the memory and the loader in the GAME folder.

So far I have:
NES
SNES
GENESIS
SMS/GBC
SCUMMVM

This is something I couldn't do over a year ago when I used to have one. This definitely makes it the ultimate on-the-go gaming device for me. Sorry Droid X and GB Micro, Wiimote and tiny gaming is cool, but not this cool. :D

I miss using the emulators on PSP - those were some of the best emus ever, imo. I've sure they've gotten better since then (around 2006).

I thought you said you do run emulators on your PSP? Or do you not do it so you can access PSN and play current games? You could just use HBL like I do and it doesn't affect your OFW.

Have they gotten better? I played with them a bit, and they generally seemed sluggish. Overclocking the PSP fixed that a little.

I was always a fan of running my backups.

I don't know. Like I said, it's been a while since I've had a PSP. They seem to run fine on the PSP Go. Good enough for me at least. Maybe certain games will lag. I haven't gotten a chance to play a wide range yet.

They haven't figured out how to run ISO/CSO on OFW 6.37 yet. It will happen eventually I'm guessing. But I already have games I had officially bought and downloaded off PSN that are still in my account. So that's cool.

I did way back when the PSP first came out. When I got my job back in 2007, I sort of fell out of gaming for a while. That was also when I stopped posting 50 posts a day here as well :p So over time the PSP just kind of fell off my radar. I think it's still in storage someplace. It's still on fw1.5, but I haven't kept up with the PSP homebrew/hacking scene in many years now, so I have no idea how shit works these days.

Haha. Wow. FW 1.5 is ancient. I actually helped a couple of KLOVers hack their PSPs already. Phat and Slim. Let me know if you ever need any help if you don't feel like catching up with the game. :)
