WTB: Super Off-road steering wheels & caps

I could be mistaken, but I seem to remember that Super Off-road came with two different types of steering wheels. One was a hard plastic and the other was a slightly softer rubber wheel. I guess they changed them during the production run. That may explain the two different kinds of caps you've found. My wheels are the rubber kind.
Mine are the same as yours. I never noticed the difference until now. I wonder when they changed?
Maybe that steering wheel I bought for the encoder wheels was from a conversion kit? I have seen some two-player versions of Super Off-Road.

Yep, I got you down for 3. I did ask the guy to match it to the original. I will post a picture to compare the new vs. old.

Did you see my question about what type of cap you have? My machine has caps with a circle engraved on it and the control panel I bought for the encoder wheel is just flat.

I don't have any and mine is a 2 player cabaret versions... and if you have seen them in person before, which kind was it?

Just an update, I got the first ones produced and I rejected them. There were some problems with the edges (heat?). The guy who is doing it will try again with a different material.

So far I have on the waiting list:
rdudding
gprotein
BertoDRINK1
GORK
arcadeaction

If the test ones pass with the new material, I will ask for a batch of 24. I figure someone else will ask for some too.

Sorry for the delay.

any more update on this?
Sorry this is late. I was given a batch of the caps two weeks ago, I tested each one on my Off-Road, and they were bit off. One of the three plugs was off. I rejected the batch.
I did ask for an update this week. The guy is my co-worker and he told me that the feed motor on his printer is not working, but he will have it up in a week. I think I will have to give him a six-pack bribe to speed up the work.
