Wtb: Strider

I agree 100%...
I normally keep my mouth shut and am serious..
If my head was on straight this morning I would have realized talking price and such would have just hurt you finding a deal.. Plus the main issue is none of our posts aid in his wanted request. Uggg, I feel like an idiot now... Sorry.

ADMIN PLEASE DELETE ENTIRE POST & LET THIS GOOD MAN START OVER WITH A NEW POST!..

sorry to raz you I meant no harm.. wish i had more to sell for a bargan vs the common market average price.
Ghouls N Ghosts is in same boat as strider.. hard to find.
Good luck on the hunt!.

You're too nice, Chad. You have no reason to apologize. Some people actually appreciate market info for a board. If I was looking for something that I didn't know the market price of, I'd prefer to know the going price and choose not to be in the market for it anymore rather than persisting for months only to realize that it goes for more than I'm willing to pay. If $150 is too much, then you'll have to luck out with someone who doesn't know what they have. I was actually surprised that my friend didn't sell it for more. If you really want help finding something, it helps to not get pissed off at people who contribute information, even if it isn't the specific info that you want.

That is a great game. Wish I still had mine. I don't remember how much I sold it for now but it wasn't enough. I got it at a garage sale for $25 and the art was in very nice condition and it worked perfect. And then I found out the coin-box was loaded with quarters. They also had another game called Oscar which I got at the same time for the same price. I had never heard of either of them but I played the heck out of Strider. Good luck on the hunt...one will turn up.

Is the cabinet rare? Did it come as a kit? Now I'm wondering if mine was in the original cab or not. I'll have to go see if I have any pics.
To my knowledge, Strider was only sold as a kit. I got mine, in a Data East cabinet, for $90 at auction many years ago.

yeah i know i won it... finnally got one... but i didnt pay for it, it is a birthday present for me!!!:)

So then you can readily admit that they are worth that much money then :)

Strider is an awesome game, I will never get rid of mine.

BTW they did make dedicated Striders from the factory. They were in black dynamo 19" cabinets. Most though were conversion kits.

I guess. I wouldn't have bought it for that much. But my girl insisted that she
wanted to get it for me for my birthday. She was so determined to get it that she put the amount of 300 down on the auction. God I love this woman!

Glad you got one... even if it was for the prices we said it'd end up being. ;)

Glad you found the Strider game...It is awesome...Never had the pleasure of playing Strider 2...Got my Strider cab off of Va. craigslist for $50 (board works monitor needs a cap kit and flyback.)
