Hey there. I know this is a long shot..... but the title says it all.

I've had a project SID upright for over a year now. I emailed Alex at Elektron Forge a year ago and got the typical no reply I've heard so much about. So, I put it on the back burner.... emailed him again last week... still nothing. I sure would like to know what the secret handshake is.
Anyways.... I'm looking for working game boards ---- or advice on someone in the U.S. who works on them.
Thanks!

FYI, you can use a regular SI board and burn the Deluxe ROMs, or burn both in a larger EPROM and switch between them with a toggle switch. I made a post to rgvac many years ago on how to do it.

Yeah... I seem to remember reading that. It just so happens.... I have a regular Space Invaders boardset - but that is also non-functional. I purchased the multi-game kit from Braze Technologies... which I was going to use on a working boardset. If I was correct, that kit would do a similar thing...... negating the need for me to burn roms. As I don't have a burner, that's a good thing.

The SID upright had that standard Space Invaders boardset inside..... non-functional. I purchased a SID boardset on the cheap to have Alex at Elektron Forge fix. As I said before... that hasn't panned out. I'm sure he does great work.... and I don't mind waiting, but getting in contact has been frustrating.

So I guess it's a bumpy bump, because I'm still lookin' .
Thanks though!
