WTB: Space Dungeon parts...

I know this not going to be easy, but doesn't hurt to try!

Right now, I'm looking for the Marquee, Bezel, and CP....

I am pretty sure I have the marquee, front glass, manual and an untested PCB. No CP. I'm assuming you mean the front glass rather than the bezel (which is the piece that surrounds the front of the monitor and sits between the monitor and front glass). The bezel for this game is fairly generic, without any art work.

I was just about to say I don't want to ship the front glass, but I notice we are local to each other. I'd sell any/all of the pieces except if it's my only copy of the manual. I'd need to pull the glass pieces to check the condition before I would name a price.

Thanks, Joe! Yeah, I'm not too far away from you!

I was referring to the glass bezel... So it's just plain, sans artwork? Never knew that!

No, sorry for the confusion.

Bezel = cardboard or plastic that sits between the monitor and front glass. On Space Dungeon the bezel is plain black (I don't recall if it's plastic or cardboard) and has no art work.

Front glass (or front plexi) = the glass (or plexi) that sits on top of the bezel. On Space Dungeon, it's glass and does have art work (although it's fairly plain).

It's plain but extremely rare. Of about 7 dedicated Space Dungeons ever found I think only 3-4 had original glass bezels. It is similar to Alpine Ski but a different color scheme. The bezel is the rarest piece of the game imo. You will see some Space Dungeon machines with the Alpine Ski bezel instead.

Thanks for the insight, Perf.!

I agree with Perf (the proper color combo will be very difficult to find), and upon further thought, I screwed up. I don't have the Space Dungeon front glass, I have an Electric Yo-Yo front glass. Sorry about that. I do have a marquee and an untested PCB.

The glass is similar to Alpine Ski and tough to find. I've actually owned three Space Dungeons over the years and one converted cabinet, great game, very tough to find.

The boards are pretty much the same as Qix, Zoo Keeper, Electric Yo-Yo and Kram. You can basically make a Space Dungeon boardset from a Qix set if you have a rom burner and bypass the coin door (there is a rom hack out there).

Anyway, good luck with your search.
