I'm looking for what I need to get the original SSB running in my Nighthawk. It's currently running SSB2007 Bowlers Club that will never go on location (phones home on every startup, increasing startup times plus no multiplayer offline Vegas mode).

What I'm looking for is whatever is needed to "downgrade" a 2007 to the original SSB. I'm sure it's at least a hard drive with the game and the security chip.

I have SSB 2007 and have the vegas multiplayer mode. Check the setup maybe it is turned off.

It cannot be enabled unless it's online. Mine's the Bowler's Club version and it's not on location (or will it ever be). The option to turn it on is grayed out. Oh and I just realized I posted it in the wrong subforum.

The version of SSB I discussed in the original post is for the original 2004 version of the game. The real unknown is whether or not my IO board (a SSBC with the Sprint modem and V34 firmware from GT 2012) is compatible with the original SSB or if only the original IO boards worked with the game, or if I have to get another IO board that's almost certain to be more expensive than the rest of the game.

Io board type doesn't matter, just swap security chip. There are rare exceptions with the htc-1 chip which will only work on certain boards. The htc-1t and htc-1a work on any from what ive tested.

Both of my security chips are HTC-3. Picture of my IO board is attached
