Not sure if it is the right thread. Have a friend who is in the market for a serious purchase of a nice shuffleboard. Will travel up to 150 miles outside of Chicago.

Thanks,

Mike

a good place to start might be the chicago land show this weekend, i planned to go to it from minneapolis but gas went up 24cents and i said the heck with it, 3.50 a gallon,, ok, i'll go, 3.80 a gallon, sorry i wont go,,,, thanks for attacking libya mr. president, you put a hurt on the middle class (me) and now i cant spend money and help the economy ( can they revoke the nobel prize from him?)

So, say with a 14 gal tank you'd be spending about $4.20 more per fill-up?
If you get terrible mileage lets say you fill up twice, both ways.
$16.80 more and you can't go because of that? How much will you spend at the drive though on the journey?

Oh, and to the OP, was there a specific length you were looking for?
Commercial use (automated pin gate), or home use?

Cheers,
Dan

Commercial or Home. At least 12' if not larger. Actually, just want 1-2-3 scoring blocks, can be simple...

Please let me know. He will buy quick, pick up quick and pay cash.

Cheers,

i see your good point, but at some point a person has to have a cut off

22' Champion commercial (mechs and gate assy) shuffleboard, still waiting on a call back to see what model it is and availability but from what I remember they wanted ~$4k-ish

Build one yourself!!!!

it takes about 2 months if you only do a lil each day and have never done it before. make sure you got some friends with some good tools if you don't yourself.

cost to do it yourself for 22' is around 1500$ if you use quality wood and take your time.

Here are some pics of the one my buddy just built with mine and a few other friends help.

A new one isnt much more. Its about $5,500 plus shipping from my site. A brand new home model.

Hell I'd like to build my own, that is sweet!
That said, the manufactured ones have plenty adjustments for leveling and truing the surface from end to end, a task that isn't all that easy on a larger table like a '22 if you have any variations in the floor (read: any bar we've ever set up in :))
