WTB: sharp xm-2001n Chassis

Shit, I have an entire XM200IN that I want to give away (unkown if it's the tube or chassis that's bad). What happened was the chassis was recapped and it turned on and was working. Then went to adjust the B+ and as soon as the B+ pot was turned the screen went dark and murky - could it just be a simple pot replacement? Or maybe the old tube just died? Never went further with it or cared since I was never planning on using this monitor because of the burn in, I just wanted to see if it could be fixed with a cap kit which is where my repair skill end with monitors. If you where closer, you could have the entire thing for free and try it.

Can't you send your current one out to someone to repair it or are you totally missing a chassis?

I just got the game, and the monitor would not come on,
I smelled smoke so I pulled the monitor out of the game and stared to take off the chassis.
when I notices that the chassis is cracked in half :(
would you part with a chassis ??
Thanks

Sorry for the late reply (I don't look at this section much, should of PM'd me) but there was another board member before you in line for the monitor anyway and he picked it up already. You could do what I did and just try to find a Sanyo EZ20 or Z2AW and swap it in (it's plug and play in a R-Type/Nintendo cab). I think the image quality of the Sanyo's is better anyway. The Z2AW that I found was in a Super Contra cab that a guy was installing a LCD in (yikes!) and even had a Konami sticker on it's frame but it looks pretty much identical to the EZ20 and plugged right into my R-Type with all the factory wiring and connectors no fuss, no splicing, just mount and plug in the factory connectors.
