Looking to purchase Sharp XM-2001N chassis(es) and Yoke. Doesn't need to be functional, just complete for parts. Yoke needs to be functional :)

Fixing a chassis for someone. Typical burn area around the linearity and width coil. I do have a 20EZ that i'm refurbing for them instead of the xm-2001, but be nice to try and get this going. Has a really nice burn-free tube.

Oh, and I am a glutton for punishment

If the chassis and yoke are shot, why not replace them with a chassis and yoke from a 20EZ? I think both monitors use the same tube...? Parts and everything for the 20EZ are far more readily available.

I haven't tried that before. Do you know if the 20EZ chassis is compatible with the Sharp frame?

Just checked. The best course of action will be to move the tube from the Sharp (good tube) to the 20ez frame/chassis and yoke.

Just tested the 20ez chassis and seems to work fine
