These are mounted to a vertical monitor frame at the top and bottom sides of the tube. The pictures are not great, but hopefully they help enough.

They are found in plywood Frogger style cabinets as well as others.

bump

If you hoard parts, you have these.
make some money and make my day be selling me these stupid brackets :)

I don't remember these brackets in the last jp Frogger i saw. I have gutted a number of these cabinets over the years. Do you have any clearer pics of these brackets? Any idea how long they are etc?

I'll get you some good pictures tomorrow. Thanks so much, I've been really using those screws and fasteners you sent awhile back, haha.

@DonPanetta Here's one picture I found on KLOV of them. At first, I thought they were part of the actual monitor (Kagi, MC2000, NEC, etc) but they're specifically Sega parts.

I checked a little earlier today and I'm pretty sure I don't have them. I know back in 2019 i did gut a far-too-gone JP frogger (and two other sega-gremlin cabs since then) but I'm not sure if it made it to the chopping block with a monitor or those mounts. I need to dig into the control panel pile tomorrow so i will double check for you.

I figured those small metric screws and bolts would come in handy for you far more than me. All of them were taken off dead Japanese cabinets over the years. The small metric t-nuts are also very hard to come by.

Thanks so much man

Unfortunately I searched high and low today and didn't find anything. Sorry.
It's all good, I really appreciate you taking a look. Means a ton. I just fixed the monitor for it today haha. A Kaga Denshi version of a Nanao MC2000-R

Wish I had them. I found some bits and pieces of that frogger including the encased EMI filter and AC power distribution block. Just not those brackets.

I wonder if there's someone on KLOV that has one that could possibly trace out the bracket on a strip of poster board or cardstock. I can't imagine you couldn't reproduce this out of a piece of angle iron.

I may consider SendCutSend if I can't find anything in the future.

While looking, did you happen to see the piece of tinted plexi on brackets that goes over the monitor? I have one, but it's for Space Attack.. rather than a color monitor.

Unfortunately no. That was missing as well. If I remember correctly everything in the monitor region was missing. Pretty sure the bag of screws I sent you also included bits from that frogger.

I was going through some of my bullshit today and I found a pair of these. Something is wrong with me.

Happens to the best of us. It's hard to sort this kind of stuff when you have lots of it. Glad you found some.
