Must be willing to ship, and must know how to properly pack a monitor for shipping (unless you happen to be in Maine, in which case I can pick it up).

I prefer working, but I'll consider non-working. The most important thing is that it has a good tube, one that is bright (i.e., not weak and needing rejuvenation) and has zero screen burn ("light", "barely noticeable", "can't see it when the game is on", etc., screen burn doesn't count as no screen burn). I'm emphasizing this point because I've gone to look at monitors before that were said to have no screen burn, and they actually had some screen burn.

I have what you need buy it off my website I will get it ready for you next week

www.garagearcade.com

Is the monitor on your site a 20-EZV or a 20-Z2AW (you have both model numbers listed in the title)? I know there isn't much of a difference between those two models and they are interchangeable with each other, but I have one like-new 20-EZV already, and I want another 20-EZV to go along with it. The original 20-Z2AWs in my machine are both tired as hell.

Does it have absolutely no screen burn? Has any work been done to it, and if so, what?

Monitor for sale

Q: Is the monitor on your site a 20-EZV or a 20-Z2AW?

A: I have both, look like you will be needing a Sanyo 20-EZV

Q: Does it have absolutely no screen burn?

A: No but I will make it that way for you it will cost you another two weeks in eta i will do it free of charge

Q: Has any work been done to it, and if so, what?

A: Good question pretty much what it says on the website, Re cap and re juv

In order to make the monitor so that it has no screen burn, you'd of course need to do a tube swap. Now, this burn-free tube that you would swap in, is it a proper 510UTB22 tube, and has it ever been rejuvenated (I want a like-new tube, not a rejuvenated one)? Also, are there any scratches/gouges in the tube?

How is the quality of the soldering on the cap kit? Cap kits are something I prefer to do myself, because I've seen some rather poor home soldering jobs before, and sometimes damaged pads/traces are hiding under those poor soldering jobs too.

Also, I talked to someone else who may have what I'm looking for, but he won't know until after this week, so I probably won't make a decision until then.

I have a zero-burn Sanyo 20 EZ tube... with frame... but I am not sure if I wanna sell considering what I paid to get the damn thing in the first place to get it here. Burn free Sanyo's seem to be a bit difficult to come by.

If you decide you want to sell it let me know how much you want for it. I have a non-working EZV chassis that I haven't really tried to fix yet. If I can fix it, it would make sense to buy just a tube and frame.

Monitor No longer for sale

Mine is no longer for sale. I may need it for a Total Donkey Kong restore project. Try Fizz's (Cute kid) that is the one that was born last year?

All my sanyo's have some degree of burn and considering i just sold one yesterday for $200 with more burn than the one i have listed, it's probably too much for a klov'er

Fixed.

hell i've tossed a shitload of these tubes in the past with no burn just cuz i didn't feel like cleaning em.

I'd like to thank you for your great service to the arcade community. Like I always say, the biggest problem with this hobby is that there are just too damn many good parts out there, and someone really needs to be throwing them in the trash. I'm glad you could step up.

I'm still looking for one of these by the way.

Come to GA and I will sell you one. But we will have to have a nice slow conversation about nerds first. Slow so I can comprehend. :)

Do you actually have one? If you're not willing to ship, it doesn't do me any good though.

Yes I have a few that need to be tested/capped. Don't know about the burn though, because I have not messed with them for awhile. I never shipped a monitor but I will try anything at least once.
