I need a BC-3500 Coin Hopper for my change machine. Mine has an issue where it is jammed. It looks OK though.

Let me know if someone out there has one

Thanks

These hoppers are pretty easy to take apart and either clean or take care of the jam. When you say it is jammed, does the propeller on the back spin or is it stuck??

If it is stuck, pull it apart and see what is jammed in the chain in the hopper.

Let me know what you find out.

Thanks for the reply

I did look at it briefly and took it apart to an extent to see if it was something within. It seemed a bit sticky, so maybe a trip through a dishwasher would help it out. Someone had taken it apart before me because some of the screws were in the wrong place (Compared to other two hoppers). The propeller does turn once apart but once it is all back together it goes back to being stuck.

I will check it out when I get home (Looks like early September right now).
I was thinking it would be easier for me to just get one and throw it in the machine, assuming I could get one at a decent price.

Thanks

Probably not going to get one at a decent price. I would be willing to take a look at it for you if you ship it to me, but that is up to you. These are usually pretty easy to fix, etc.. Only thing that needs replacing usually is the gray propeller inside because they usually get beat up pushing the tokens up.

Brian,

I have looked around - it seems that these go for a hundred plus or minus. Then they are odd and heavy to ship so that adds to it. I have it set up right now to feed from one hopper and that should work for the time being, but I am one of those "It has to be factory: guys and would prefer ti work as it should.

I will give you a shout when I get back. I am deployed right now (Afghanistan) and wont be back until this fall. I will definitely hit you up when I do.

Thanks

Michael
