Yeah, @g3n3r1c (no longer a user on KLOV, perma-banned, he is the founder of KLOV SUCKS FB group),
but unfortunately he was the main seller of those soft wico grommets yer looking for, find him on FB!

g3n3r1c was looking into Mad Planets grommets, and he did Tron/Gorf ones. But I don't know if he actually did a run of Wicos.
Fleetwood472 was the person who did the run of primo soft Wico repros, that were the popular ones a few years ago:

Hey Mark, I think some older samples may have gotten mixed up when I sent them into you for testing. My softest grommets for robotron were made at 2 lbs and my slightly firmer grommets were made at around 4lbs. I'll send you 2 more of the 4lbs just to see what you think when you get a chance...

I have been in communication with Fleetwood for a year or so, and have agreed to take over and do another run. However everything is on hold at the moment, as the factory in China is shut down due to Covid. The resume date is unknown at this time, but I am actively waiting for things to resume, and will alert folks when things are moving again.

Yes, actually. I should have them in *maybe* a month or so, barring any issues.
I've been holding off making any formal announcements, as I don't want to until I physically have them, and are sure they're ok. But they've been ordered, paid for, and are being produced as we speak. (I was actually holding off bumping this thread, but now that you did I guess I can at least give an update lol, no worries.)
I will start another thread when they're available. And there's no need to post here saying you want some, there will be plenty for everyone. It'll be first come first served, once the thread goes live.
There's actually more to the story, as I've actually been working on this in the background for some time. The truth is, I already received some a few months ago. But the factory screwed them up and made the center holes too big, so they're remaking them. The original agreement was to make them identical to the last run's specs (which were clearly documented, and very specific as we tweaked some of the dimensions to make them a little tighter tolerance). And with these things, thousandths of an inch matter.
They screwed something up internally (they claimed there was an issue with some piece of machinery, and they weren't aware of it), and the center holes ended up being too big, and out of the specified tolerance. And they were just too sloppy to sell. So after discussing this with them, the agreement was that they would re-make them to the proper specs, which is taking another couple of months.
Anyway, stay tuned. I'm committed to getting these done for this community, and done right. And we should be good for a long time after that.
