Help!! I need a Replacement Battery for my Vegas Boardset Midway Cart Fury

Hi Guys, I'm trying to get a Cart Fury that I just bought up and running. It has the Vegas board-set in it with the battery at postion U28 on the SIO board. The manual lists the part number as Midway 5880-15774-00. Where is a good source to buy a new battery for this machine? Thanks, --Rich

the snap-hat battery? im pretty sure i may have a spare laying around, you can get them mouser/digikey. where you at in fl?

Hi, This is a square black battery that sits at position U28 on the Vegas SIO pcb, not a button/coin shaped battery like Radio Shack sells. I'm not sure what a "snap-hat" battery looks like? Is there a chart that I can cross reference the Midway part number? I'm in Jacksonville. I go by "Rich in Jax" on the Village BBS. Thanks, --Rich

Just look on top of the black box battery for a part number, then search it on mouser. I usually find them there...

I just ordered one from Mouser for my Gauntlet Legends - M4T28-BR12SH1 is the part number you are after.

That's the one. Sometimes they are a little difficult to pop off
the chip but the new one just snaps right on.

Stupid Digikey search.. you need the timekeeper model, the Z is no-crystal so it would not keep time.

Model #'s

– M4T28-BR12SH = 48 mAh w/Crystal
– M4T32-BR12SH = 120 mAh w/Crystal
– M4Z28-BR00SH = 48 mAh
– M4Z32-BR00SH = 120 mAh

Mine had the 120mAh battery.

I would like to thank everyone for their EXCELLENT help on figuring this out. I'll check to see how many mah the battery is and order one up. Thanks again!!!

Aha!! According the Wikipedia, the higher the mAh, the longer a battery will last. It looks like I can use either one. Thanks again everyone, --Rich
