WTB: Rally-X Glass Bezel

I have not been able to find a good bezel.

Mine is flaked up like crazy; looked great until I removed the bezel and the simple wind causing a draft caused a snowflake effect from the paint falling off in huge pieces.

I've been looking for nearly 2 years....every one I have seen was flaking badly. The game doesn't get enough love. Being on the 60-1 boards doesn't help either. :-(

Good luck with your search. If you ever find one, please post a picture for the rest of us to admire!

...

here you go. The one pictured has a pinball glass covering the right side and has some wear on the edges of the green. but otherwise it looks good.

I had a second one, but i threw it out a month ago when i cleaned out my garage.

Is there any way you could print these to thin vinyl? We could apply the vinyl to the existing glass once the old flaky art has been removed.

you mean on a clear in reverse to put on the bottom side of the glass?
or just white vinyl to stick on top?

either way could be done.
its trickier to do the the clear in reverse if you dont know what your doing.

The clear in reverse is what I was mainly thinking. I just recently tried that for the first time with a freebie vinyl 'second' print and overall I like it, but that was the first time I had done such an application. I used the wet method and it worked out good overall, but there are some air bubbles to contend with. I'm not sure if the air bubbles are there b/c I did not squeegee it good enuff after application, or if I used too much soap in my water solution. I have another 'second' print I can use as more practice. I like the idea of reusing the old glass bezels and it does look pretty good. But you are right, it is a little "tricky'.
