So I finally *fingers crossed* got my PO monitor issues resolved but realized I'm missing the wiring from the harness to the sound amps on the monitors and from the amp to the speakers. Anyone have a source for these connectors or have extra sets of them? I need 2 of each for both monitors.

Thanks,
-M

Same cables as other Nintendo games if it helps. Mikesarcade may have something as well.

Hmm.... I had asked mikes arcade about this a little while back an he told me the connectors for punchout are different.

Maybe you are asking to generically. Ask specifics and throw up a picture. From what it sounds like you are asking, I have those cables same cables on all my Nintendo games and monitors used in Nintendo games.

I'm referring to both sets of audio cables. The ones from the harness to the monitor amp and then from the amp to the speakers.

I have a picture of the harness to amp wires here:

Now I just went back and re-read the email from my conversation with mikesarcade from July last year. (This is a looong project) Anyhow, I think I misread him. I had asked about the AC connector *and* the sound connector and his only reply was a "I don't believe the connector matches."
Which could mean either. I had alleviated my AC cord issue and all this time I assumed the PO/PC10 sound harnesses were specialized. FML

Ok so I went ahead and opened up an DK I just picked up last weekend to pilfer the sound cable. I figured I could order one from mikes farther down the road. Apparently they are different so I'm not crazy. I only need one of these so if someone has one of these cables, you'll be my no. one guy/gal.

Thanks,

I think I've got one, and I want to be your number one guy! Give me your address and I'll send you one. You can PM it to me.

If your DK has the little black connectors, then yeah it is different. The Nintendo games that used a edge connector harness should have the same connector though.

Punch out and PC10 (dual monitor) games have different cables because the connector goes from the harness to the amp unlike DK, DKjr, Popeye, etc. The cable goes from the PCB to the amp on the monitor.
