WTB Pinball Dolly In SF Bay Area/Sac - $250

I have one that belongs to an operator buddy of mine.. Since I have had it for like 2 years and he has not asked for it back, maybe he would be willing to sell it.. I can ask if you interested in a full size one (I pretty sure its a wico).

I'd definitely appreciate it if you would check with him. I've been thinking about the Harbor Freight route and it still may be my best option, but I really would like something that was specifically designed to move pinballs and doesn't need any modifying. The way they built them like a tank gives me the sneaking suspicion that they are pretty reliable

I went the harbor freight route and LOVE it. I didn't even bother putting a hinge on it yet I just left the handle unbolted so I can lift it out when needed.

It also works great when breaking down and setting up Pins since it lowers all the way to the floor, you can pop the legs off, lower it down and then easily flip it on to it's back without ever having to lift the game.

I can also easily fit it in my Pathfinder WITH a pinball machine when I'm picking one up or delivering one. Something I'd never be able to do with a traditional casket carrier style pinball dolly.

Adding the hinge is nice because it allows you to slip the lift further under the pin before raising it. The mod took like 10 minutes. Just a few parts from home depot. No welding or cutting, I did widen the holes on the hinge a bit. I used the existing holes and just threaded in some bolts. On the handle there is a nut inside the tube I held in place with some needle nose pliers while threading.

I've got to say, your endorsement is making me rethink it. I guess the general complaints about Harbor Freight that I've seen is that the handle gets in the way when you are moving it and that it doesn't seem to be as durable. As far as durability goes, I can almost get past it b/c it's so much cheaper, but I also don't mind spending a little bit more for something that I know won't break, so it's a coin flip. The handle being in the way is a bigger concern because I'd hate to be going through someone's doorway with it and knock over some antique vase. From the photos it doesn't seem like it's in the way, but from the forum postings this sounds like a problem.

I have the harbor freight dolly at home. I just went to a show without my dolly and had to use a regular pinball dolly. Mine kicks ass over the pinball one. No contest. :)
