Title! I've been looking for a long time and just can't find this.

If anyone has one, or knows a better place to look, I'm all ears.

Thanks for any help.

Damn, you got me excited for a second! I appreciate you looking out, but that is a CD740 -- a CD player. I'm looking for a CD-i 740, which are apparently quite rare.

The Philips CDi was officially a "multimedia player", but was more a pseudo gaming console that just wasn't very good at either.

Wiki

A bit of info on models

Frankly, it's a real piece of shit. I just like bad games more than good games apparently.

I never really understood the demand for the CD-i. It was never designed for games in favor of this weird niche of photo-interactive books and coffee-table literature with sound but had enough game titles that I can count them with two hands and they are all incredibly sought after because three were Nintendo licensed products and they were all incredibly shitty, in part because CD-i wasn't even trying to compete with 3DO.

so... if found, how much do they command/sell for? $100? $250? $500? $1000? $5000? more?

what's the TOP RETAIL DOLLAR you would sell your soul and 401k plan to buy one?

I have no idea what they are worth. I'd probably start by asking the owner what they would sell it for.
