WTB: Pac-Man joystick NOS

pac-joystick

Good luck finding a NOS one. I have looked for quite sometime and never found one. Hopefully someone will repro this one day as it fits several midway games.

A lot used Midway joysticks in good shape only sold for $10-15 or less on Ebay.
I see some NOS Wico, never see any NOS Midway joysticks.

I still cant believe nobody has repopped these yet. I mean, how many damn pac and mspacs are out there and that doesnt include the other games that used the same stick. Super Pac, baby pac, jr pac and other midway games. I believe galaga and galaxian is pretty much identical except a little shorter shaft so they could be made too. If I had a someone who could do injection molding I would do these myself.
Im actually working on reproducing another much needed midway part right now but im not going to let the cat out of the bag until I know for sure its a go....waiting on pricing now.

Well with the rate that the midway games are being turned into Multicades, is there a need to reproduce the whole stick?

I'm not looking for them really hard, but am actually finding it a bit difficult around here to find a Midway Cocktail or cab to restore anymore. Everyone buys them and Multicades them.

I have 7 machines that use them and would probably buy a few spares. Thats 10 sticks right there. There is plenty of demand to justify making these, just need someone to step up and do it.

yep, ive looked for just the shafts forever, no luck. I did find a bunch of grommets, and the fiber leafs can be made no sweat. Actuators, no luck, and shafts, nope. I have a journey cocktail and a Timber that would love new shafts, thats 6 right there. No luck, Ive never seen these yet. Which is just strange, like said above, the amounts of those made has to be a close second to Wicos numbers for leafs.

Hell there is enough demand out there just for a good leaf switch joystick or even just the leafs for a wico.

I just talked to my guy who is working on producing a part for me and its possible he knows someone that can do plastics. If everything goes well with this item I might consider doing the joysticks too.

How do you do that?

By the way I thought I struck gold the otherday... I am packing to move and I found a nos wico leaf base with 4 new leafs in it in my parts. I also found my nos defender/stargate 2-way stick that I could not find. I am kind of excited to see what else I find...
