Anyone have or know of a set of good SEGA Outrun steering springs. Both of mine are broken. :(

Once the well runs dry on those NOS springs, you can actually get springs from Home Depot. I picked up a pair for my Outrun that works well, though there is a little less tension than the originals. However, it's certainly better than nothing, and does a good job at returning the wheel to center position. It's a cheap alternative anyway.

my wheel is slighty off center, always has a slightly crooked look to it, is that due to broken gear? or can I resolve that? any help?

My outrun mini had large pink rubberbands instead of springs. To get more tension, the last owner twisted the bands.

I have some NOS outrun parts. I can check if I have some springs. I know I have some of the rubber bumpers and stoppers.

here is a pic of the parts. They came out of an actual sega bag... Not sure what the big roller is for. But it looks used..

Curious: I just picked up an outrun mini. Does yours have force feedback or did they not have that in the minis?

The mini does not have a "motor" feedback. It has a solenoid that taps on the steering shaft.

Thanks for the response from everyone. Somebody beat me to some springs, but someone else stepped up with a set! Thanks. :)
