I am wanting to get my husband aa arcade related gift.
I was given an original marquee and that sparked the idea to get more marquees of games he's owned/loved, to create lightboxes/artwork.
So I'm in search of original/NOS Marquees of the following:
Donkey Kong; NeoGeo; Mortal Combat 4; Dragon Field; Tempest; Gallega; Galaxia; Q*bert; Popeye; DK Jr; DK3; Robotron 2084

(Arcade games are his thing, not mine, so if I stupidly listed a game that is almost impossible to get parts of, please excuse my ignorance.)

Any other arcade related gifts for an avid arcade lover are also appreciated.

Not a marquee, but these were popular here as gifts last xmas.

Also, ebay is a good place to get marquees. Just be aware that there are also reproduction marquees out there, which people are printing. They can be decent in may cases (and may be fine for your purposes, if you don't care about them being original), and in most cases they're a lot cheaper. Just be sure to check whether the listing says they're original vs reproduction/printed.

for what it's worth, do they HAVE to be original/NOS?

i believe there are hi-qual repros of many of those marquees that would be easier to find and look just as nice in something like a lightbox or other arcade-related fine craft.

good luck!

Nah, they don't HAVE to be. Would be cooler if they were but yeah, not having much luck with the NOS want.

Darn, you're a couple years too late. I used to make light boxes to order for any marquee a customer desired. I usually designed and built the boxes and let the customer source the actual marquee, but occasionally I would also source marquees for an additional fee. Good times.
