I am looking for an opto sensor, however I would buy the whole board if need be.
Here is the PN for the opto-board found on the bottom "047369-01 rev.a." It's for a steering wheel arcade style unit. The specific opto sensor I am looking for has a the following numbers on, that are readable at least.. H0A6036-"A" <- I believe the digit in quotes is an A, however it is cut off. Other markings on the sensor include: C020290, 8927, and mexico.

The opto sensor has 8 contacts on it.

If you have the sensor or the board with the sensor and would like to sell it please contact me.

Thanks

Atari 047xxx-xx part number is in the Gumball Rally era of production.
Is the sensor used on a Gumball Rally steering wheel?

I will check with my friend, I think it might be from Badlands though. I did find a rev.b for that particular PN listed as a Badlands part. I'll have the information tomorrow!

Thanks!

Are these the opto sensors your looking for?

MYLSTAR>>> The board you listed looks very similar, but besides the data connector and sensor mine only has one resistor on it. Will that make a difference, or will I need to remove the sensor and transfer it onto my board?

Thanks

I have opto sensors with the part number C020290. Not sure if they are the same part or not. I thought they when to Atari's 720, but not sure 100%. Here are some pics. Can anyone confirm these are an Atari part and maybe what game(s) they go to?

Thanks,
Brian

The unit is from the Badlands game, it is a Rev.A board, so it must be one of the first arcade consoles sold of its type. If I can get confirmation that Rev.B boards work as a replacement even though they have extra circuitry on the opto board, I would appreciate it!

Pictures of my board are above.

The unit was tested plugged into the other steering wheel assembly (which worked fine) and didn't work, which is why I assume the sensor is bad.

The part lucasnov77 has worked on my revision.a board. If anyone has an issue in the future, at the very least the opto sensors are interchangeable.

Thanks for your help guys!
