WTB: Old Merit TRIVIA WHIZ & PHRAZE CRAZE ***** UPDATE *****

Yeap. You read it right ! Everyone has had or still has these laying around. Never to be put out on the road again.

Looking for the machine you have collecting dust, or working pcb's, harness, etc.

I'm in PA ( 18704 ). Let me know, thanks.

I have a trvia whiz II that was in a centipede cabaret. All still mounted on a board. It is partially spliced into the former Centipede harness. It used the ARII and the Atari PS.

I would be happy to sell it with wiring..cheap!

I would sell this for 50 bucks.

whiz

I have a trivia whiz(working) with harness and buttons.
Email if you want it.
I sure its going to be about $15 to mail everything so i am thinking $25 check is good. I do not do paypal, so check or money order is fine. Unless you have something to trade.

*** UPDATE on purchasing pcbs ***

I have purchased several of these TRIVIA WHIZ pcbs and forgot to mention that I will ONLY BUY the Trivia Whiz pcbs which display a HORIZONTAL orientated pic. The vertical orientated pcb's are garbage to me.

I haven't figured out how to tell which version pcb you might have. So for now, THE ONLY WAY is to actually plug it in and see how it comes up.

Hopefully I can obtain the horizontal chips for the pcbs which I have already purchased. I am blaming myself for not mentioning it earlier. My bad.

Thanks so much for all your replies.

I have two boards that were originally in those Pit Boss countertops (13" horizontals). One is a D-series and one is an E-series. One has an add-on board on top. Both made by Merit. Pretty sure they were both Trivia Whiz's, maybe a Trivia Whiz III. I can't test them now, but you can have them both for $25 shipped if you want them...
