Hey guys,

I am looking to deconvert my TMNT arcade and bring it back to it's original glory. I am looking for NOS artwork for this deconversion, marquee, side art, CPO and coin door arrow stickers. If you have any one of these pieces for sale, please PM me.

Thanks,

Aaron

There was an NOS piece of side art on eBay a while back, rumor was someone well known for doing top quality reproductions scooped it up. The scans available online definitely leave something to be desired. Good luck with your search!

I too have been on the search for NOS but lost hope... HOWEVER, I just received a set of artwork from Dumfinger and was extremely pleased with the Side Art and CPO quality. Every other piece of TMNT Side Art I have seen has been from the same set of scans which were littered with amateur Photoshop Healing brush/blend marks over all of the scan seams.

I would say Dumfingers is by far the best reproduction option out there. Excellent quality and fast shipping. The CPO is also excellent and WITHOUT the button / joystick holes which is also near impossible to find elsewhere.

I'm with you. I would love for someone to scan in a NOS of artwork for Turtles 1. I have ordered this artwork from a number of different sources and while some are better than others, for the most part they are all inaccurate in their coloring and very blurry.

This is no fault of the print shops, they are working off of artwork that has been copied many times over. I have a flyer for the original Turtles Arcade game which shows what the coloring on the cabinet artwork should look like and all of the current versions are way-off. Their is an old video on Youtube of Reditrick installing 3 piece NOS artwork on to a Turtles cabinet, if you look at the artwork in that video you can clearly see how far off the current artwork is from the original.

I recently sold a NOS 3 piece art set for Turtles in Time to Szabo's Arcades. A local operator in Michigan had it in a box his back room and I purchased if from him (score!). Szabo's Arcade scanned the artwork so that it could be sold as only one piece per side.

Szabo's sent me the scanned artwork on their "heavy textured laminate" which prevents any bubbles and wears like iron (costs more but in my opinion well worth it). I think that is the only way he is printing the Turtles in Time art at this time. If anyone is interested, here is a link to the artwork:

Just to be clear, I purchase artwork from all of the great KLOV vendors and I am not endorsing one over the other. Frankly, they each bring something unique and needed to the table. I just mentioned Szabo's artwork here due to the NOS nature of the artwork scanned and the fact that Turtles in Time artwork has been missing from the scene for a while.

It's a real shame that it hasn't been able to be replicated exactly yet. I sent 2 NOS sets of artwork to 2 different people (ridicrick and johnnycutt) on here and it never panned out. The person who has the most accurate and high definition scans would be member JohnnyCutt. He took extremely high DPI scans and last I spoke with him was they needed to get stitched together and blended. I have not spoken with him in a while but if someone is able to get in touch with him this may be able to get back into action. He did have a kickstarter campaign for covering some of the fees of a graphics person to get it completed however there ended up not being enough funding. I think the problem was he was trying to get the turtles in time project taken off first but it seems there is a lot more demand for the original turtles side art.

I've also heard of another member purchasing one side on ebay to scan but I'm not sure what the status of that is yet.
