WTB Nintendo VS pcb and/or Excitebike and/or Dr Mario and/or ppu/cpu's

I know that a WTB thread is never a good way to post a first message on a forum but I'm pretty desperate to get this. It started off as an anniversary present and through no one's fault but my own I've now potentially ruined the board, definitely ruined Golf and possibly Mario Bros. So I really a new board for a Nintendo VS along with a game, either Excitebike or Dr Mario.

I am willing to pay a reasonable price for these items assuming that they work. I still have the chips, cpu and ppu from Super Mario Bros which will also be going on the board so I want to make sure that both sides of the board are in good working condition. Hopefully Mario Bros is still working with no problems but it isn't right now with my current board so I want to make sure that the new board I get is working 100% so I can rule that out.

If you have this for sale please send me a message including how much you are asking for it.

Also, I have feedback on E-bay if anyone wants any references.

Lastly, I live in Canada, I just want to let everyone know in case someone is unwilling to ship up to here.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Additional: I haven't had any luck so far so I am opening this up more. I am willing to buy separate pieces from more than one person so even if you only have part of what I am looking for I am interested. I'm now also looking for a CPU for Super Mario Bros and PPUs.

I really just want whatever pieces I need to get this working again.

Thanks again

Welcome!

Welome to the board and the Nintendo VS Addiction.

Go here for your ROM Chips:

He's a good guy and wont screw you over. You will still need CPUs and PPUs. for the ROMs. I recommend going to http://www.johnsarcade.com and check out the Nintendo Tech and his videos. He will make you an expert in about an hour.

Now back to your "dead" board.
What did you do to kill it? (becareful of the chip orientation)

I know the Super Mario Bros (SMB) needs the other side populated or a special RPA2C04 CPU or the "mod" (piece of wire, do a search here for it, simple and reversible).

It sounds like you might have killed your PPU or your CPU. This is what I would recommend.
(I am assuming you have a UniSys and not a DualSys or Red Tent).
Populate the board's left side (facing chips, connectors at the bottom).
Add the CPU and PPU.
Power it up.
If no go
then
turn off
unplug board.
Swap CPU
Connect all.
power up
Good to go?
Then you have a dead CPU. Get a new one. Some people aren't having luck with the RP2A03H (H revision) CPU working.
No bueno?
turn off.

unplug.
swap PPU
turn on.
Does it work?
Yes
1. Colors ok? you have the right PPU
2. Colors off, you have the wrong PPU (game still plays)

PM me if you have any other questions.
all: If I am missing anything feel free to chime in. I am assuming it powered up and working prior to killing.

I didn't look at the specifics of your needs. I do have a working baseball board, both sides are populated with roms and cpu's, only 1 side has the ppu.
