If you plan on selling one this year, please let me know. It will probably be a couple of months before I can afford it, but I would like to see what is out there. I would prefer finding one in the Reno or Sacramento areas, but I would be willing to ship for this game. This is the last pin on my original want list, and I want to get it this year.

Looking for fully working in great shape.

I'm half considering selling mine. but will let the other guy have first dibs on getting rid of his first..

If I sell it, I'm either paying off a crapton of credit card debt or buying a Tron Pro. :|

As I mentioned, it will take me at least a couple of months to fund this, but I really want to know what is out there. I want to find the best machine possible for the money. Anyone thinking of selling in the next few months, please let me know.

so one popped up locally for $3500.

Is that what they sell for? I saw a price guide that says $2200 or something like that.

I've seen several sell for that price range lately. Have not seen any for around $2200 for awhile. Of course for that price they should be in nice shape and everything working; however, don't expect extras like all LEDs, etc.

I hope I can find one cheaper than that, but I don't know. For $3500 I would want an incredibly nice one for sure.

I just bought mine 2 weeks ago for $2500, that is the cheapest I have ever seen a non-routed one in years.

About a year ago or so I saw one on Vermont for $1800, but that was gone in a heart beat, and it didn't even work.

I have heard of a couple for sale from this thread. Are there any others? I want to choose from as wide a selection as possible. I am listing some vids for sale to help speed up the budget a bit. With any luck, I might be able to make this purchase by the end of the month.

Personally, I'm not selling mine for less than 4200 at this point, price guides be damned. I've never seen one up for sale on DFW craigslist in the year I've been trolling for pinball.... there were two for sale at TPF, both went for over 5k if I'm not mistaken. Saw one down near Houston that sold at light speed at 2400.

I can't treat pinball like arcade games, there's too much money involved, and other pinball people are NOT going to "pass it foward" when I cut someone a great deal on a game the way things have evolved over the last year+.

Only issues with mine are torn head decals (80 bucks) without wood damage, and the shooter handle needs to be re-powdercoated or plated. Ramps are cracked, but mostly protected by metal shims in front of the damage. I can't tell if they were Mantis/Cliffy protectors, I don't think they look high enough quality to be so, but they look like they were cut from siderails, are pretty thick and protect well. Translite has a small scuff in the STTNG lettering.

Realistically, if I was to account for those things, sell price would be around 3600-ish, I guess?

But that ain't enough for me to let it go after rebuilding cannon harnesses, full LED kit incl flashers, shopping it out, brand new plastics+protectors+cliffys+extended lane guides+repinned GI connectors and headers..... I'm ONLY selling it if I can end up with LOTR, Tron, or X-Men in some fashion, lol. :p

With those issues, it probably isn't worth that to me, but I definitely understand not wanting to part with it for less. I have been looking on ebay as well, and most of them seem to be listed at $4000 +/- $300. I haven't closely examined them yet though since I am not quite ready to buy.

Yep, and I've been real honest with anyone that's asked about it. Prices are *all over* on this sucker. Right now there's a guy selling one on Pinside for 4000 shipped anywhere in the US.

There is a good chance I will be able to buy one of these in 1 to 3 weeks (depending on price of course), so please add your pin for consideration if you want to sell it.

Got one! Thanks to everyone who has been keeping an eye out for me. This was a strange purchase as I actually had to go to ebay to get a good deal. off to play... :)

So Paul, enquiring minds want to know - what kind of good deal did you get on Ebay for it? For the record....

I paid $3100, which is about $1200 - $1400 less than what I was seeing here for machines in similar condition. One of the Pinside guys is selling a REALLY nice one for $4250, which I think is probably worth it. It had just about all new parts.

I was trying to work out a deal with him, but this auction ended while I was waiting for his reply. Both were within 500 miles of me, which was my limit for travelling this weekend.

Edit: If anyone is looking for a really nice STTNG, PM me, and I will get you in touch with the Pinside guy. He responded to my wanted post there, but I don't think he has posted it for sale yet.

3100 is a great deal. You can turn it into a 3900-4400 game with a few hundred in parts, or a lot less if you don't care about LEDs and your plastics are in great shape. I still think anything over 4000 is a tough sell on this game unless it's been re-clearcoated and everything is pristine. Took me over a month to sell my game @ 3900...
