I'm working on restoring my MVS 4-25 machine and will need some white Vinyl decals to replace the missing side art. I would preferably like to get 2 sets (both sides in a set). One set for this machine, and the other for my next project.

If this isn't possible, I may need to get one of the guys in the print shop at work to cut some for me... But I'd rather pay someone on here. :)

You aren't the only one looking. I have an MVS-4 upright (version 1) and would love to get new side art since I need to replace t-molding and patch up the wood, but haven't wanted to do it until I could get some side art or stencils to put back on it.

Love the cabinet. Let me know if you work something out, I am sure there are plenty of us looking for the same thing.

There was a guy named eccs19 or something like that here, and on Neo-Geo.com that was selling some. I bought a set for a project MVS 2 slot big red that I was working on, but ended up selling. from what I could tell, they were pretty decent quality.

edit: Yep, eccs19 was the name. I found someone linking to a thread by him on Neo-Geo.com here:

http://www.neo-geo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=183298

I'm at work and n-g.com is blocked for me so I dont know if the thread is really old or not, but hopefully that can maybe get you in contact with him.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! I've been contacted by someone who is willing help me get what I need.

I checked out the guy on the neo geo forum. He has a website that lists the vinyl neo geo decals for sale, but if you try to order, it says out of stock. I'm sure if I contacted him directly, he may help. Since i've been contacted by a member on this forum, I'll go with that for now.

PM me if you want to contact the guy doing this for me and I'll give him your contact info. I want to respect his privacy since he chose to PM instead of posting here. ;)

Interested as well. I'd love his info if possible.

I suppose I can measure my NeoGeo lettering/logo on the side and offer them to everyone. I have a MVS4 and MVS6 but right now I can only get to the MVS6.. my other one is way in the back of the garage with about 20 arcades blocking it and its to dam cold to move all of them.. lol

I have the vectorized versions of the side art. I got the measurements for each logo from emdkay.net since I don't have the original.

NEO • GEO
Approximate size: 19 in x 3.25 in

MVS MULTI VIDEO SYSTEM
Approximate size: 9.5 in x 3 in

§ SNK
Approximate size: 13.75 in x 2.5 in

As far as I know, this should fit well for any MVS cab that has the 25" monitor.
If anyone is interested in the eps file, PM me. Its not letting me upload it here at the moment.

A few people said the vector files out there are slightly incorrect. Did you vectorize them yourself or get them from one of the arcade art sites?

I got it from an art site and then modified it slightly.

The main difference I saw was the lack of the registered trademark symbol, but there were a couple other things missing.

For example, I couldn't find the graphic next to the snk logo, so I drew that myself. I'll post what I have once I can get to my computer.

Here is a lower-res preview of the vector file we are using.

The decals are designed in Adobe Illustrator, and we've been trying to get it as close as possible to the original side art. I've included a photo of some original side art as a reference.

If anyone else would like a set of these, just leave your interest here. :)

EDIT: I plan on making the vectors publicly available after we are done. Also, wanted to note that this is a joint effort between myself and forum user needhelp-- a lot of the fine tuning of the art was done by him. If you want a set, send him a PM and I'm sure he'll be glad to help out.
