Having trouble getting my 161-1 multi cart to work in my single slot MVS setup. Would like to find someone selling a single slot (or more) as long as it is known to work with the 161-1 cart. I don't know if there are different types or not, but I need one that fits the standard jamma connector. I'm kind of new to NEO GEO so pardon my ignoramusness. PM with the specs and price shipped to 60565. Thanks!

I have a Bust a Move cart which works great. The multi cart just won't boot. It has tried a time or two but has ultimately given me a RAM and ROM error. I'm thinking it could be the cart so I'm going to try to get a replacement before I go too nuts with replacing everything. Do you know anything about it? Things I should check?

mine plays some games and freezes in some, 1 slots really dont like the multicarts from what i see, this is a 2nd different multicart, my 1 slot just doesnt like them!

Still in the market for a NEO GEO MVS mobo known to work with the 161-1 cart. Apparently my cart is fine, it's my mobo that isn't playing nice.

Good luck on this. I have a 120 in 1 that is very temperamental in my 4 slot. Sometimes it resets, sometimes there are sound issues, and once in a while it just works. This is the replacement board, and it acts the same, so I think they just don't work well with some motherboards.

On Bust a move, the screen even hops. I rebuilt the monitor because I thought it was going bad. When it was still doing it after the rebuild, I noticed that I only saw it on that game.

I am trying to sell my cabinet now because of this board. All of these games work fine on my MAME cab, and I don't have to deal with all of these issues.

Yeah, my mobo boots the one regular game I have no sweat, but the 161-1 gives it all kinds of fits. I've looked on ebay and no one knows if their working boards work with the 161-1. Crap.
