I am buying a 4-slot cab this week, and I will need a few games for it. I am still trying to research the multi carts, so not sure what I want on those. If anyone is selling an older one to buy the 150, I may be interested.

I definitely want Bust A Move. There are probably a bunch of other ones that I wouldn't mind having, like MS, but it would depend on price. It has a fighting game in it, but I don't know which it is.

I already have all of these games on the MAME cab, so I am not quite sure why I am buying this, but I have always liked these cabs.

I don't know what pricing is like on the carts; I have avoided looking at them until now. They seem to be all over the place on eBay.

Pricing does vary, but if you are buying to play and not collect, you can often save a bit by getting carts with banged up labels and that sort of thing.

Here's a fairly rough guide that should give you a general idea of what to look for, pricewise:

Thanks for the link. I had a very similar one, but it was for kits. I like these prices better...a little. I have purchased two so far. Metal Slug for $40, and Puzzle de pon for $22 shipped. Not too bad according to the list. I printed mini marquees for them at school for $0.40 cents and they look great. I bought a 150 in 1 as well.

This is turning into a fun addition to the garage.

I need to get my 150 in 1 replaced and playtest some of these. Right now, the only one I really want to buy is Bust A Move. The rest may be OK on the multiboard until I find some favorites.

For those that have played a lot of these, which games have good replay value? I want to try to avoid buying a bunch of carts that will rarely be played.

I like NEO turf masters a lot! It is on the 150 in 1 though.

I played that today for the first time. I think that one might be worth buying. Simple, but still fun.

I made it through the first mission on Metal Slug without dying today. :)

Shock Troopers, 2nd Squad is a great one

My favorite MVS cart is Top Hunter, but it's a pricy cart at $50.

got a puzzle bobble for 20 shipped.

That is tempting, but I think I will hold out for Bust A Move. I already have the puzzle Bobble version on the multi cart.

Thanks

I have Shock troopers 2 and Top Hunter on the multi. I will be sure to check those out. thanks

I thought Puzzle Bobble & Bust a Move are the same game?

They are. Puzzle Bobble is the Japanese version and Bust a Move is the American version. AFAIK, the only difference is the title, but I would rather own BAM. I can play the game already on the multi.
