Hello,
I've nearly collected the essentials for my restore, just need a monitor and coin door (yes, the highly sought after Centuri would be great!). Let me know if you've got a monitor within 100 miles of Cincinnati. I'm fine to have the coin door shipped.

Thanks! Jeff

I'm not near you, but since I've owned 4-5 track and field/hyper sports cabs I thought I'd interject. all of them had k4900 monitors. (though anything would work)

Jeff....sounds like you made some good progress tracking down the parts for your restoration. Any standard resolution monitor will work in T&F. I'm sure there are a few KLOv members in the greater Cinncy area that will sell you a CGA monitor. Try posting another want ad for a monitor in the Cinncy area...worst case, try sending Vongoosewink a PM. He is in Indy but a lot of arcade games / parts seem to pass thru his hands.

Good luck with your search for a coin door and post some pictures...I want to see that cabinet come back to life!!

Tron Guy, thank you for touching base. I'm not too technical (hoping to improve that some with this restore!), so I wasn't sure what monitors work with what.

Rob, yes, I've pretty much picked up everything except the coin door/mechs, monitor and speakers (which I believe are just standard speakers, was probably going to pick those up last locally). So, any old monitor will do, that's helpful. Thank you for getting me started Rob, I'll probably check in with you along the way - I'm still needing to better understand how to repair the control harness and how to wire it. I plan to actually start it in March.

This forum has been a huge help! Many thanks.

Jeff

EDIT - speakers / grills secured, thank you dj dns!
