I don't need this immediately seeing I have an original translight in nice shape behind glass. But if someone has a nice minty fresh Glass Marquee they are confident they could ship so it would safely get to me please shoot me a PM.

Stripped shirt preferred but let me know what you have!

Original translight? For Food Fight? Hmmm... not sure I believe that. I've never heard of this existing before. After market repro maybe, but original? I think I'll need more convincing.

Talked to Brian Jones and Rick Ford and they both confirmed that Atari in fact used "BOTH" screened glass and translight behind glass.

Atari did make/use translites (Marble Madness, etc.), but I've never seen or heard of an example of both glass/plexi and translite for the same game. Very interesting. No offense to Brian & Rick, but I'd like to hear this from someone like Scott Evans.

And while I am doubting you, I'm not at all saying you're absolutely wrong either, as I don't recall anyone ever making a repro of this item, so it could be (and another "I learn something new every day" item).

I am pretty sure Rikitiki accidentally bought an original translight some time ago. The translight "is screened".

I believe early ones were glass then Atari moved to Translight.

Hey, doubt me if you want. I really don't know. Just what I've been told. :)

FF did come in both flavors. I have 2 or 3 translites here and sold of my Glass marquee years ago. I have found the glass one to be the harder of the pair to track down.

They did it for Pole Position. I have both styles with Atari Rev numbers on them.

Are any of them different sizes? I bought a FF marquee that was advertised as glass, but it was translite adhered to glass (on the front of the glass no less) but it is shorter than the cab, so there is space on each side of the marquee area. Sucks, but its better than what I had I guess.

Well.. I do have one..I have NO idea where it came from. It's definitely glass but mint. No flaking....there are a couple small scratches. The biggest being about a half inch by 1/8 inch

I'll get pics in a minute

edit: Upper left hand side in the black.. about the size of an eraser head.

Lower right in red..the scratch describe above

typo: It's definitely glass but NOT mint
