I'm doing a little fixing up on my galaga upright but need a replacement back door for it. The previous owner thought it would be a good idea to use an atari door instead :(

Title says it all, looking for a midway back door. Color does not matter as I will paint it black anyway. The door just needs to be in good solid shape (no cracks or huge holes). Drop me a PM if you have one to get rid of. It would be best if it were close by (Wisconsin area).

Thank you!!

I just re-fabbed one from 1/2" mdf I picked up at Menards. Sheet cost me $5, and the router and I got her cut in about an hour.

Might want to consider that route, if you have another one to work from as a template...

Every Midway cab (dedicated) that I've seen used MDF for the back door. You could try using plywood (use high grade quality so it doesn't warp) but it's a bit tougher to shape and much more expensive. It's also not the original material.

Menards sells a 2' x 4' sheet for like $5.50 on sale. I clamped my old sheet to my new one and used it as a guide for routing.

There's been some mention in places about using 3/4" mdf, but measuring both my cab and my old door showed me 1/2" mdf, so I stayed with that.
