WTB: Looking for the following Pinballs in the Del Val \ Tri-State area

Let me preface this post by saying I never have owned a Pinball. So, I'd like to own my first and I am looking, obviously, but on a budget. I am engaged and looking to buy myself I guess a wedding self gift. I am not looking for CQ but no dumpers either, just working or something I can mold or work up would be good too, idk.

Games I am interested in:

Adams Family
Monopoly
WWF Royal Rumble
Simpsons
South Park
Star Wars
Mario
T2

or any other late 80s-90s pin

Anyone out there that can help me or have any tips for a pin-scrub?
kkthnx in advance.
-John

I am in Smithville NJ, with other local pinheads in my immediate area, about 45 min from you.

It would really be best to have one of us be your wingman.

I PMed you my contact info.

We really need to get some sort of central/southern NJ/Philadelphia area
pinball/arcade club going. There is no reason we shouldnt be sharing tips
locally, helping each other out, techie stuff, get togethers, etc.

What do you guys think? Maybe an email list to keep us organized?

We're all within 1 to 1 1/2 hrs or so of one anther.. heck I drive 50 mins
to work. I'd rather be driving to another arcade freaks house:) I know there
are plenty of collectors in NJ/Philadelphia.

A bunch of people on here can get sketchy - if you know what I mean. I am sure people would be down, probably best to get some kind of webcam channel goin like a tinychat.com channel so people get to known one another first. And THEN do like organized meets n shit lol... just a thought

This sounds cool to me! Maybe start a thread about it in the regular pinball section so more people will see it.

I used to live there (40 years) and I agree - Y'all need a Pinball group. Might I suggest something like we have here: http://www.gapas.net - A simple mailing list that connects people in the area. You can post about stuff and sett up parties and such. It's been working great for us for 10 years now.

visited that website and ms security essentials suspended a trojan file from my browser cache. I believe that web server is infected.

Yes, it was infected a month ago, but I have fixed it. I just looked and it's OK now. You might have old cache data in there.

Thanks,

Al's other website got me good. Spent an hour and a half cleaning my machine up. It changed my desktop and disabled Control Panel & pretty much anything else that would have helped me eliminate it. Security Essentials identified it and said it was quarantined, but obviously this thing was able to end-run around it.

That is the only time I've ever got something like that just from visiting a web page. Hope you got it Al, but I'm sure as hell not gonna click on that and test it for you! ;)
