Wtb: kangaroo

I have a REALLY nice one in Maryland. Seriously, its a solid 9.5/10.
Monitor is recapped and has a new flyback. I think I rebuild the power supply and replaced the big blue but I cant remember for sure.

I always liked this goofy game, it gets no love. Nice to see someone looking for one, if i came across one i would put it in the Cave for sure...

Good luck and sounds like you may have found one, Congrats

I have one stored in Council Bluffs, Iowa would have to move about 50 games to get to it. I haven't seen it for about 5 years. What price range?

Thanks

Would like to follow Exidys price guide at $250 if in working order. So 50 games you say. Why don't we get a caravan of Iowa collectors to pay you a visit?

I agree but unfortunately most people dont. You would think if someone likes donkey kong they would like Kangaroo too. I just wish they had used a dedicated jump button instead of using the joystick.

I wish this, too. And I wish they'd cleaned up the gfx glitches and the proximity detection re punching the monkeys. I've always wondered if Atari didn't pressure for its American release in a reckless rush-rush. I was getting Atari Age magazine at the time and iirc they made a really big marketing racket re its release. We were all salivating for some Kangaroo before we ever played one. Looking back, I think that Atari latched onto it and pushed it hard because at the time CUTE seemed like the next big thing.

It is cute, no question about that. It is cute.

I have one, btw. Grade A-, fully working. Come to Texas with $200 or equal trade bait.
