WTB: K4600 neckboard, working

4600 neckglow

Check pins 9 and 10 on your neck board for approx. 4-6 volts. if no volts then trace backwards for bad parts, traces etc.... If everything looks good on neck then problem elsewhere.

4600

I will look for a neck board.
I did not read the whole thread you listed so i will ask this. Did you measure in Ohms(power off) pin 9 and 10 after you had your voltage. Ohms should be around 4 ohms. If no ohms or even way higher then your tube is bad.
9 and 10 is your heater inputs so if ohms is too high, then less bright on tube and flyback might be bad, because it is working to hard.

Check out that thread for the latest update if you want. I get an ohm reading of 3.5 between pins 9 and 10 if that means anything. I now get some neck glow after adding more solder to those scratch marks. But now I get a voltage reading of 0 from pin 10. So weird!

Stand by on that. I think I may have spoken too soon as I now have raster on my original one. If the price is right, I may just grab it anyway.
