WTB: Jurassic Park or Creature From the Black Lagoon

I am looking for either pin in decent working shape. They don't need to be fully shopped, but I don't want any junker projects. I am in MN, but would be willing to travel to Wisconsin, Iowa or the Dakotas for the right pin at the right price. The right price would be in the $1500 range for the JP, $2500 or so for the CFTBL. Thanks!

OK, found a JP locally for $1900. Cab is in OK shape, some flaking on the sides and some large scrapes in the red of the decal on one side of the head. Everything works, play field has wear (and cliffy protectors) around 3 holes, otherwise seems decent. No word on any shopping that may or may not have been done to it. Is $1900 a decent price on a fair JP these days?

I usually see them (non eBay) price for high $1000s. I would say if you have no kickout issues or ramp damage, that's an ok price. Slowly getting into pin hunting so this is beginner advice. Best of luck. So nothing back on the Creature contact I gave you? They haven't gotten back to me and I drove by their warehouse. Not very big.

Nothing yet. I haven't been getting too aggressive with them at all either though.

Price is a little high. If you can wait a little while, you can do better for sure.

I agree $1900 is a bit high, unless it's in fabulous condition. I paid $1800 for mine - cabinet is excellent, wear around the 3 holes (cliffy's covered) couple minor issues aside from a major shop out and I think I overpaid a bit. I wanted it though so no biggie. I would think $1500 would be a fair price of what you're describing as long as it's complete with topper. - Barry

JP is no longer a $1500 pin IMO at least not in WI or Midwest. With pin prices going up constantly these are as well & they are hard to find. The Lost World I have seek for cheaper but not the original JP. I have seen a few sell locally here for $2200-$2500. Phetishboy - can I ask about where the one is locally. I am currently looking for one and at $1900 and it is in good condition I would be up for a road trip!!
